Terms of Service | Smalltown Boy AI

The terms for using Smalltown Boy AI, the Smalltown Boy dance clip maker.

Last updated: October 2026

By using Smalltown Boy AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who we are

Smalltown Boy AI is an independent service at smalltown-boy.com. You can reach us at support@smalltown-boy.com. What one clip is and the current prices these terms refer to are listed on the about page. Smalltown Boy AI is not affiliated with Bronski Beat or the rights holders of the song "Smalltown Boy", or with TikTok, Instagram or CapCut.

The service

Smalltown Boy AI makes short AI video clips of the Smalltown Boy dance meme from two photos you upload. Features, templates, the model used, and pricing may change.

Templates and the posts behind them

Each page shows clips that creators shared publicly while the trend was live, credited to their platform. Those clips illustrate the meme; they were not made on Smalltown Boy AI, and their creators are not affiliated with the site. A template does not give you any right to another person's likeness, artwork, brand, characters or music.

Third-party AI providers

Generation runs on third-party AI infrastructure. The photos and prompt you submit are sent to the provider that serves the model in use, currently KIE.ai, which routes to the underlying model vendor, ByteDance (Seedance 2 Mini). Smalltown Boy AI does not train models on your content.

Accounts

Keep your account information accurate and your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Smalltown Boy AI.

Acceptable use

These content standards apply to every Smalltown Boy AI feature and cover prompts, uploaded photos, and generated clips alike. Upload only photos of your own pets, of yourself, or of people who have agreed to it.

Prohibited content

You may not generate, upload, request, or attempt to generate any of the following:

1. Adult and NSFW content Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive material of any kind; nude, intimate, or sexualized imagery of a real person, with or without their consent; and fetish or sexually degrading content.

2. Violence and gore Realistic depictions of extreme violence, torture, mutilation, graphic injury, or death; content that glorifies, promotes, or incites violence against any person or group; instructions or depictions that facilitate terrorism, extremism, mass violence, or the production of weapons.

3. Hate speech and harassment Content that attacks, demeans, dehumanizes, or incites hatred or discrimination against a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation; hateful symbols and propaganda; targeted harassment, bullying, threats, or doxxing.

4. Child safety (CSAM) Any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative content involving a minor, or content that sexualizes anyone who appears to be under 18 — in any style, including illustration, anime, or cartoon. This also covers content that endangers or exploits minors in any other way.

5. Deepfakes and impersonation Realistic synthetic depictions of a real, identifiable person created to deceive — including fabricated statements, actions, or events attributed to them; impersonation of a real person, brand, official, or organization; fabricated content presented as a real news event, official communication, or authentic recording; and non-consensual synthetic intimate imagery.

6. Intellectual property infringement Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights — including reproducing protected characters, artwork, logos, trade dress, or the likeness of a person, where you do not hold the rights or a valid exception. You are responsible for holding the rights to any media you upload.

Zero tolerance

Child sexual abuse material, terrorism and violent extremism, incitement to genocide or mass violence, guidance on weapons of mass destruction, and non-consensual synthetic intimate imagery carry no warning step: the account is terminated immediately, credits are forfeited, and the matter is preserved and reported to the appropriate authorities and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where the law requires it.

Other prohibited use

You may not misuse the service, bypass limits or safety filters, use jailbreak prompts, or interfere with other users or infrastructure. You may not deploy malware, spam, scraping, or automated abuse of the generation endpoints. You may not present AI-generated output as human-created work where doing so misleads people in a way that matters — for example in journalism, academic work, or legal, medical, or financial advice.

How we enforce this

We use a combination of automated safety filters on prompts and outputs, provider-side moderation from the underlying model vendors, and human review of flagged and reported cases. Depending on severity and history, we may block a generation before it runs, remove content, issue a warning, restrict or suspend features, or terminate the account. Terminated users may appeal once by writing to support@smalltown-boy.com; we review appeals independently of the original decision.

Reporting a violation

If you see content produced or shared through Smalltown Boy AI that breaks these rules, report it to support@smalltown-boy.com with the subject line "Report", including a link or screenshot and a short description.

  • Child safety and non-consensual intimate imagery reports are handled first — mark the subject line "Urgent — child safety" or "Urgent — NCII" and we will act on the same day we receive it.
  • We acknowledge reports within 3 business days and tell you the outcome once the review is complete.
  • Reporter identity is kept confidential and is never disclosed to the reported user.
  • Every report is reviewed independently on its own facts, not on who filed it.
  • If you believe content infringes your copyright or trademark, or depicts you without consent, write to the same address and we will remove it while we review.
  • Repeatedly filing reports known to be false is itself a violation of these terms and is recorded against the reporting account.

Generated content

You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights to the prompts you enter, the media you upload, and the results you use. Check for yourself whether a result may be used, how rights are handled, and whether it complies with third-party rights.

Commercial use

Clips you paid for may be used for commercial purposes, subject to the rest of these terms and to the rights of third parties. The clips do not include the song "Smalltown Boy"; any music you add when posting is licensed through the platform you post on, not through us.

Payments

Smalltown Boy AI sells clips as one-time packs. Each run makes one clip and uses one from your balance; a run that fails puts it back. Nothing renews and there is no subscription. Prices apply as of the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Card details are entered on the provider's checkout page and never touch Smalltown Boy AI's servers. The provider handling your purchase is shown at checkout and on your receipt. You may delete your account at Settings → Security.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which includes a 7-day refund window for purchases whose clips have not been made. The same policy is shown at checkout.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI generation results.

Changes and termination

We may update the service or these terms. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date at least 15 days before they take effect. We may limit or end an account or access to the service in case of a breach, abuse, or operational need.
